Our History

Being an avid collector of Peggy Davies Ceramics for a number of years, I was fortunate enough to design two lady figurines Carmen and Ooh La La (the French Maid) that were produced by them. These two figurines were marketed by a shop in Arundel, West Sussex.

Following on from this (during 2006), it was agreed with Mr Rhodri Davies of Peggy Davies Ceramics that I commission a bulldog, namely Viva Las Vegas. Whilst the intention was only to undertake the one bulldog, by mutual agreement it was decided that I would design others in the series.

In 2008 it was suggested that I take over www.bulldogs.co.uk which would enable information on past and present Peggy Davies Bulldogs to be located in one central place for collectors.  It is my intention to keep this site updated with any new bulldog 'works in progress'  as soon as they are underway.

This site will also have a Gallery section - 'show-casing'  artist proof and prototype bulldogs that we have managed to acquire over the years.

There is also a section containing artist proof bulldogs for sale.

Finally the site will from time to time give visitors the opportunity to purchase web specials - these 'web specials' not being for sale anywhere else.
